“Commitment as a trusted advisor—long term engagement with successful outcome”

Mor-Liquidity held a long-term engagement with Keller Williams Ottawa, providing business exit planning advisory services over a multi-year term. Working directly with the owners, Chad Morissette was the principal advisor and business coach, tasked with an end goal of a successful exit.

Services provided included a full business audit with a ‘sellability evaluation’, including value depressors. Mor-Liquidity applied a proven and process-driven approach to value enhancement and ‘staging’ of the business for sale.

Similar to selling a house, although far more complex—selling a business has prescriptive stages and processes required to deliver a positive outcome.

Being in the real estate business for many years, the owners realized the significant complexities of exiting their business and turned to a trusted, experienced firm to deliver results. Exiting a real estate brokerage is not a simple process and Mor-Liquidity relied on its niche experience and network of trusted advisors to navigate the exit with the best possible outcome.

Several suitors were evaluated, multiple Letters of Intent were issued and the acquiring company was Remax. A mutually beneficial fit was found, following an applied and prescriptive approach.

“We worked with Mor-Liquidity over a 3 year period place our business in a position of strength. We exited on our terms and Mor-Liquidity navigated us effectively through choppy waters. Don’t underestimate the planning work involved and the rigorous process of exiting your business. The investment made with Mor-Liquidity exceeded our ROI expectations”
